Inside Monet VR Experience

Inside Monet VR Experience is the first open-air digital art exhibition dedicated to Claude Monet. Following the success of the 2024 edition, it returned to Bordighera with an immersive experience combining art, technology and emotion.

The guided walk takes visitors through the places loved by Monet during his stay in 1884, when he was fascinated by the light, colours and lush nature of the town, which inspired him to create 38 works. The experience combines theatrical storytelling with Virtual Reality moments, where, by wearing a VR headset, visitors can step inside some of Monet’s most famous paintings.

Among these, Impression, Sunrise and Poppies lead visitors on a sensory journey of colours, light and atmosphere. The route also includes a stop at Villa Etelinda, a symbol of the deep connection between Monet and Bordighera, also celebrated in the painting of the same name.

The experience concludes with the Water Lilies pond, where the harmony of water, light and brushstrokes takes visitors beyond the boundaries of reality.
